Function of the LTZ1600 aluminum coil coating line
Aluminum coil was rolled, lubricant, anti-oxide grease and impurities of Si, Mg, Te, Cu left on
its surface. the aluminum coil pretreatment line can clean and form a compact honey-comb oxide film layer(non-toxic, tasteless, no waste water) on surface of work pieces of better endurance, strong adhesion of paint layer with our advanced coating & painting processing technology, which protects the environment meanwhile saves the cost.
According to the uses, the aluminum coil after pretreatment is painted different types of paint on the surface. Then it is baked in the oven with automatic temperature controller, formed the coated aluminum coil which function is up to the requirements. The line adopts the fashion of three-painting & two-baking. It can be individual processes of bottom painting, cover painting and back painting or painting once. The bottom painting and cover painting machines adopt the advanced three-roll precision converse roller painting technology. The back painting machine adopts the advanced two-roller precision converse roller painting technology. The thickness tolerance of the paint film can be insured less than ±1um, while the appearance quality of the paint film can achieve the best. The oven adopts the advanced design, with which the temperature is balanced and the energy-conservation is above 30%. It insures the quality, while decreases the cost.
This line has storage sets in the winding & unwinding segments. The coating segment normally works while the winding & unwinding segments stop to load & unload the aluminum coil. The efficiency and using ratio of the aluminum and paint are improved than that of half continuous production line. The line adopts three closed loop intension, controlled and coordinated by the computer and PLC.

aUnwinding unit
There are two sets for unwinding, one of which is working and the other is preparing the aluminum coil. This insures the produce continuous, and improves the using rate of the aluminum coil.
bCutting, splicing unit
The cutter cuts the head and tail to splice. The splicer adopts the splicing mode of mold pressing. The tie-in can endure the large pull.
c1# driving unit, storing unit for unwinding
The 1# driver of damp mode establishes the cleaning segment intension with 2# driver. The moving roller support in the storing set should stop in a high place while the unwinding segment works normally, and it should fall to output the storage to insure the segments behind work normally when the unwinder stops to change the coil. After the coil changing, the unwinding segment runs over the line-speed. The moving roller support rises to the storing place, and then the unwinding segment gets the right speed.
dCleaning and de-fatting
It uses the deep soiled technology to clean out the fat and impurities left on the surface. At present, we usually use the acid de-fatting liquid, which main compositions are Phosphoric acid, hydrofluoric acid, nitric acid and some assistant compositions like: saponification and eliminating bubble material. We suggest to use the German Henkel Aluetch acid de-fatting liquid, which temperature is 550. During the producing, we should test orderly the PH of the liquid in the flume and add the acid de-fatting liquid in time. The line is the twice de-fatted, but the user can choose the once de-fatted according to the material. After de-fatted, the leftover on the aluminum coil should be cleaned out. This needs two working procedures of deep soiled first and spray latter with pure water. After cleaned, passing the removing water pressing roller and cold junction it enters into the next procedures.
eChemical filming
The user can choose the deep soiled or roller coating procedure to react on the surface of the aluminum coil without oil to form the compact film. Considering the environment, at present the no chromate procedures is adopted, and we suggest to use the German Henkel Alodine 5200 treating liquid which PH7, temperature 550. The titanium procedures instead of traditional chromate procedures greatly decrease the difficulty and cost of sewerage treatment.
fDrying and cooling
The water on the aluminum film is dried, and then the fastness film is formed in high temperature. The hot wind is less than 100, after dried, it cools to room temperature.
gPrimer paint coating
It uses the three rollers reverse coating. The paint coating roller, paint cohering roller and volume adjusting roller are high precision roller. We can get the different thickness of damp film by adjusting the space between paint coating roller and volume adjusting roller. The speed of the paint coating roller is 1.41.7 times of the producing line speed while the volume adjusting roller is 110m/min. Adjusting the above two speeds, the intension of aluminum panel, the place of back on roller and the circumfluence of the paint, we can get the good surface quality of the coating. Usually, the thickness of dry primer paint is 10um.
hDrying of the primer paint
The aluminum panel enters into the stove to dry and solidify, after coated by the base coating machine to get a steady capability of physical chemistry. The stove has two segments of heat-exchanging circuit wind. The user can choose three mode of heating: fuel, gas and electricity. The temperature is designed according to the kind of the paint, producing speed, the width and thickness of the aluminum panel and so on.
